I wrote today about the expanding Nike Oregon Project, which will include Wisconsin cross country coach Jerry Schumacher and some of the top professionals he has been coaching in Madison, Wis.

Oregon Project coach Alberto Salazar said he believes Schumacher is the top young distance coach in the country, and views him as a potential successor.
